We finally made the trip to AZ. I was sitting around thinking and realized that school starts on August 12th. That is only two weeks away. It seems like the summer has flown by. We never really went anywhere with the kids. So we decided that this was the time to go. Lucky for us the 24th is a day off for Bri. He ended up taking Friday off and that way we could go for 5 days. It was so worth the drive. The kids had so much fun together. Me and Shannon and Amanda went to the spa on the 24th for Amanda's 15th B-day. It was so so so fun. Brian spent the morning with the kids and then took Jayme and Becca (two 8 year olds) shopping. Then we all met up for lunch at the Cheese Cake Factory. The day was good and fun. The rest of the week we played in the pool, and our new favorite game,Ticket to Ride. On Saturday it was my b-day. Shannon made me tons of cinnamon rolls and we went to eat at Caraba's (the best place ever). Then we went to Jestrz Improv Club. They were hilarious. We did also go to a water park.( some people may still be chaffed from that) All in all it was a fun time and the kids now have something to write about when the teacher asks them what they did over summer break.

Sure looks like fun. I'm glad you were able to take the kids somewhere before school starts. You all need these wonderful memories. That's what life is all about, so I hear.

Your puppies are very cute. Copper is our third Boxer. We love their personalities and probably will be the only breed of dog we will every own. I posted some other pics of our other two that passed on in the last couple of years.
