I am sick of cleaning up pooh. and the house smelling like puppy food and pooh all the time... I will miss them though the way they just love ya no matter what. There is nothing better then a puppy.

They Came..at last!!! (uuguh)

Sooo, after night after night, Day after day of thinking "it's gonna happen" it did! Saturday night Kit had 9 cute little babies. She was such a good girl. she had 6 then seemed to stop. Looking at her worried me cus she was still very lumpy! Lumps mean pups and she still had quite a few lumps...so she stopped and rested a bit and fed the 6 babies she had. The whole time I'm sitting there thinking (Sheesh, what are we gonna do with all of these) Then after making a phone call to "a very smart trusted good looking dog wise friend ;) " I was reassured that it's fine if she rested.. 1hour and 1/2 later she started up again. This time she didn't look as happy. Finally #7 was born. Not very easy for Kit. He was all black and was so cute. She had a hard time getting him cleaned up.Bye the time Brian got home she had delivered 8 puppies. I told Brian all about the night and then set out to the shower thinking she was done. I got in to the bathroom and I hear Bri yelling "Hey,Hey Charity,She's doing it again!" By the end of the night we had 9 little pups Kit was good all was well.....Sunday morning I was holding the Lil black one and he started choking..long sad story short he died...It's such a shitty feeling to have something so Lil and helpless die literally in your hands.. We hadn't let the kids around the pups yet so me and Bri just dealt with that together...Life goes on and things are getting better. We have one lil guy named Pinky ( fingernail polish on his paw) that we have to feed but things seem good. We are excited for them to get big enough to play with Hayden can't hardly wait. so that's the up date on our DLS's.... love ya all

Our Dirty Little Secret

Well it's no secret. She is as huge as a house. Not like we could hide it any more. Obviously if you don't spay or neuter your pets they will reproduce. Again and again. Nature is funny that way. so if you scroll down to um May's post you can read where I said " We are not doing this again." Guess What? We are.! Fun times! I really have taken a different approach this time in hopes that it will be a lot less emotionally draining. No ultrasounds and all that jazz. Just a normal dog having puppies. So there you have it. Our Dirty Little Secret. And if anyone wants to own a DLS they will be available to go home February 10th.

Ouch!

On Saturday the kids came running in screaming "Davin's bleeding!" Now my first reaction was (here we go again) because Hayden had been in twice already to get band aids for people. Then we heard Davin. Brian flew off the couch and up the stairs. He can move pretty fast when he wants to. When we got up there his mouth was just a bloody mess. The kids were all trying to explain at the same time. We got him to the sink and started rinsing. Ya know when there is alot of blood, but you don't want to scare your kid. That's how this was. When we looked in his mouth it was like "Wow that is not gonna work". Me and Bri were standing at the sink. Holding our little guy. We looked at each other and thought the same thing (Damn Kids) just kidding. We did both agree that something needed to be fixed. We tried and tried to get a hold of our dentist. Tried calling family members that had the dentist cell number. Tried the dentist again. After what seemed like for ever we reached him. Our dentist was in California at a wedding. We did however go see his partner. He was such a nice guy. He pulled the tooth and checked everything else out. We didn't end up stitching the lip closed but today it is nasty looken. I'm just glad it all worked out good and was only a tooth we lost. I love ya little Davin. Everyone be safe on the trampoline.:)

Grandpa Scoma

Well life truly does go on. A week ago today I was sitting at Grandpa funeral. As we all know though today I am sitting at my computer ignoring the laundry. Funny how life doesn't stop. (or the messes) Anyway I will say it was a good funeral. As good as one can be that is. It was fun to see family that I haven't seen in 12 yrs. On the other hand it made things a little more sad. Seeing everyone made being old a reality. When you don't see people for that amount of time. It is almost like a dream world that you knew them in.Seeing them made my dream world with all my memories change some. No longer is it me and Little Nino sleeping on Grandpas deck getting eaten by mosquito's. We are all grown up. That was more sad to me then the passing of Grandpa. The reality that this part of my life is over. sucks. I hope everyone is doing great. love you all.
