I wish I were a bird so I could fly far far away.....

So lately I have been thinking of our trip to California and remembering how much fun it was.. We spent a whole week together with Brian's siblings and there families. We did the whole Disney land thing and all that jazz.. anyway days like today I just wish I could run back there and be that happy and free ....

Know
Yesterdays jester
tomorrows fool
holding my breath
I feel like a tool
back and forth
the pendulum swings
the dark is upon me
the clock tower rings
off in the distance
up out of this mist
my heart is a puddle
I splash with my fist
anger and heartache
go hand in hand
reminding myself
I am only a man
fighting for air
as the sky seems to clear
the cold of my face
is burnt by a tear
hope is not given
its something we find
time is not granted
nor does it rewind
be true to ones self
seems so hard to find
is life a looking glass
or is it half full

Wow.. Random huh.. Well this is at Emilio's Bday party.. The kids got to ride around in a barrel train. They had super fun. We went to his party because I worked with his dad Cesar and I was Emilio's preschool teacher. Cesar's family were very nice and made us feel like part of the family. It was weird to be there in a way we were the minority.lol.. It was a great time and we all had fun.

Friends Forever

How often do we really find a good friend that we really really hope will be with us the rest of forever? I have thought about it tons over the past few weeks and realize friendship is an amazing thing.. It has powers to heal hearts and calm fears and just make things better all around.. I mean honestly. Who hasn't been dumped by a boyfriend and then found comfort in a girls night slumber party? When I was younger and would have to walk home from the church in the dark after YW. If my friends were with me the fear was gone. When I am sad or feel like I'm a crazy weirdo i know that my friends are there. People are meant to be together. No man is an Island. This being said, I hope all my friends know how much I truly Love them.. Love is what makes us who we are..Love does make the world go round... It separates us from the beasts.. I hope that I can live my life knowing that the people I love knew that I loved them !!!
